What's with this should stuff?

It’s glaringly obvious that I’m highly motivated to learn how to become a better father in order to help Dominique (my daughter) be happy and at peace.  I’ve been told by some that I should let go, to let her karma take its own course, to free her to do her own thing.

An attachment strong,
That’s a suffering I own.
A small price to pay.
