I was delighted this morning when a student from my Buddhism 101 course at Clark College showed up for a morning meditation service with the Sangha (congregation) of Mt. Adams Buddhist Temple.  I’ve been strongly encouraging my students to come to a mediation service, of course, but I was somewhat surprised that someone actually listened to me and followed through.  It dawned on my that a significant part of the Sangha are there because I suggested it.  That brings me great joy.
