So it seems my painful neck and teeth were all due to my clenching my teeth.  My chiropractor found knotted up muscles but nothing more.  My dentist found nothing wrong with my teeth.  The pain was about a 5 on the scale of 0-10.  I was losing my sense of humor, it was sapping my energy level, and my motivation plummeted.  So I had to do something.  I started using my mouth guard and the pain is going away.  So I do clench my teeth.  Who woulda thought.  Strange… nothing’s particularly stressful in my life.  Nothing out of the ordinary. Just the normal too much to do; too little time.  I am a bit overdue for some down time.  I’ve been busy trying to catch up with everything for a while.  Maybe this is my warning to carve out some lazy time, Thich Nhat Hanh style.  I understand that one day a week is devoted to relaxing.  I’d settle for one day every few weeks.  That’d be better than nothing.  And as a wise friend of my often says, “That which gets scheduled, gets done!”
