It’s time for me to get serious about my diet. I’ve noticed that a few yoga poses are more challenging now that my weight has crept back up. Complicating this further, a friend pointed out that my diet of choice–eggs for breakfast and vegetarian chili for lunch and dinner–leaves me with a shortage of protein. And since I’ve lost muscle mass recently due to my cancer therapy, it seems to me that protein might be important. So I asked ChatCPT for some help finding foods high in protein but low in calories. Sadly, for me to get the recommended amount of protein every day will consume a lot of my daily calorie budget. (I need 80g of protein daily. Source) So… I guess I need to be very disciplined.
