Upon reflection, I would like to tone down my enthusiasm for trying to entice people to embrace Buddhist practice.  I’m starting to annoy myself, which means I must be manifold more annoying to others.  Perhaps…  These are just ideas I’ve formed, which may or may not be true.  It’s a vague razor’s edge I’m on.  One one hand, I appreciate the value of sharing my enthusiasm for Buddhism with others.  A handful of people have benefitted from this and are now regular members of a Sangha.  But others probably look at me like the meme to the right. While I believe everyone could benefit from following a Buddhist practice, Buddhism isn’t a good fit for everyone.  This may be from a lack of understanding what the benefits are and how they can change one’s life.  As my friend, Mark said, “Why would you want to suffer when there’s another way?”
